The Only Thing I Miss About Being Married to the Father of My Children

I have a new piece up today over on the Huffington Post Divorce channel. A really great title for it would have been "The Only Thing I Miss About Being Married to the Father of My Children". But I thought that would be a little too long.
So I titled it The Most Lamentable Part of Divorce. Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a clue: it has nothing to do with sex.

  1. Yes, yes, and YES. There are about infinity minus one things I do not miss about my first marriage. That one thing is getting to see my son whenever I want.

  2. It is tough to not see your kids all of the time. Especially in the beginning and especially when my kids were younger. It feels easier now that they're in their teens and have more of their own lives.
